Kevin was a great model for our regular Thursday painting session

at S12.

I am pleased with the freshness of  today's

painting.  I often over paint when given enough time.

Kevin's portrait retains some of  gesture with which  it started.

Gabriel

This is my attempt to capture the beautiful Gabriel

in our regular Tuesday afternoon painting session at 

S12 Studios.

I would also like to thank our great friend Don Hatfield

for honoring his commitment to teach a six hour figure painting

class at S12 last Friday.  Besides being an extraordinary artist 

he is a fine teacher, so it came as no surprise that it was "standing 

room only".

Jodie

Our beautiful friend, Jodie, came from Las Vegas to our studio , S12,

in Sacramento today to model for our Tuesday three hour figure 

painting session.

This is my unfinished attempt to capture our Jodie.

Last weekend S12 Studios hosted a workshop 

featuring L.A. artist and teacher Michael Seigel.

I learned a lot, especially about working into the dark.
